I purchased a small house as my first investment property which required replacement of furnace, air conditioner and water heater. Every time I called a HVAC contractor to come and give a price quote to replace my old furnace, water heater and air conditioner, they would invariably give me a price quote that ranged between $7,500 and $9,000. First, the price was beyond my budget and second, I did not feel very connected to these contractors that I could use them to do the work.

One morning, when I was driving to work, I saw A+ Mechanical truck driving along the road next to me with a phone number written on its side. I immediately dialed the number to see what kind of price and service I will get from them. Scott, the owner of A+ Mechanical, returned my phone call immediately and was very friendly and warm. He came to my place to evaluate and give me a price quote. He was very knowledgeable and was more than willing to share his knowledge and patiently answered all my questions. At the end, he suggested what I should install to get the best bang for my buck and still keep the house at a nice temperature. His price quote was $4,500 for a 92% efficient furnace, a 50 gallon power vent water heater and 13 SEER rated air conditioner. I probably talked with about 6 HVAC contractors and none could beat A+ Mechanical price quote on an apple-to-apple comparison and none of the contractors would believe me that someone could install a new 92% efficient furnace, a 50 gallon power vent water heater and a 13 SEER rated air conditioner for $4,500.

I was a little worried that A+ Mechanical might install a refurbished or a scratch and dent product because their price was very low when compared with all other HVAC contractors that I contacted. I was hanging around one whole day with A+ Mechanical while they were installing the products to ensure everything was done correctly and that they were installing brand new products and not some scratch and dent or refurbished product. Scott was absolutely delightful and answered every question and was very knowledgeable. He actually installed a 95% efficient furnace and a 40 gallon power vent water heater and a 13 SEER rated air conditioner for the same price. What he installed was better than what we agreed for the same price. I thought Scott was more than honest and did a great job for a price that was within my budget. I am glad I got to know A+ Mechanical because I don't have to search for a new HVAC contractor for any of my future projects. Without any hesitation, I will highly recommend Scott to anyone who needs HVAC work done in their residential or commercial property.
